Partnership is the cornerstone of progress, a synergy that amplifies impact and propels initiatives to new heights. It is against this backdrop that the Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Food Security Policy Research, Capacity, and Influence (PRCI) is set to host its second Global Gathering from March 6-8 at the iconic Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington, DC. The theme for this event is “Partnering to Strengthen Capacity for Applied Policy Research with Impact: Accomplishments under PRCI, Lessons, and Next Steps.” This gathering promises to be a forum for knowledge exchange and strategic discussions.

The Africa Network of Agricultural Policy Research Institutes (ANAPRI) is honored to participate in this significant event, bringing together diverse organizations to exchange valuable experiences and insights. Implemented under the auspices of USAID’s Feed the Future initiative, the PRCI initiative has been a catalyst for ANAPRI’s journey to becoming a leading think tank in the continent. Through PRCI, ANAPRI has witnessed an expansion of its project portfolio and an enhancement of resource mobilization efforts.

ANAPRI will be actively engaged in various activities at the global gathering, including a self-assessment of the impacts of PRCI and participation in panel sessions. These endeavors aim to showcase the strides made by ANAPRI, demonstrating the tangible outcomes of collaborative policy research. It equally underscores ANAPRI’s commitment to continuous improvement and its dedication to contributing meaningfully to the global discourse on food security, climate change, soil health, local capacity strengthening and lots more.

This Global Gathering is not just a reflection on past accomplishments; it’s a pivotal moment in shaping the future trajectory of PRCI. Notably, the event is a hybrid version, providing the unique opportunity for participants to join virtually. Visit here to access the link for virtual participation.
