The East African Social Science Translation (EASST) Collaborative and the Agricultural Technology Adoption Initiative (ATAI) at The Center for Effective Global Action (CEGA) are partnering to showcase rigorous evidence relevant to East Africa and facilitate new linkages among research partners and policy makers across the region. This event is funded with UK aid from the UK Government and with support from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

The 2017 East Africa Evidence Summit (EAES), provides the opportunity for East African researchers, policymakers, and practitioners to share latest research findings, discuss study synergies and capacity to scale, learn best dissemination practices, and form meaningful collaborations with a wide array of regional stakeholders working toward a common goal of large-scale, positive impact.

Tegemeo Research Fellow, Tim Njagi, presented on day 2, themed, “Advancing Food Security: Lessons from Randomized Evaluations”. His presented, “Adoption of Maize Technology Bundles: Implications for Productivity and Food Security”.
